نبات اكليل الجبل وفوائده Rosemarinus officinalis
اكليل الجبل Rosemarinus officinalis L. اسمه الانكليزي Rosmary ومحليا يسمى ايضا حصالبان ينتمي للعائلة الشفوية Labiatae ، موطنه الاصلي مناطق حوض البحر الابيض المتوسط .
شجيرة معمرة صغيرة دائمة الخضرة يصل ارتفاعها الى حوالي متر واحد كثيرة التفرع من القاعدة ، الاوراق صغيرة خيطية الشكل عطرية الرائحة ، الازهار تحمل في عناقيد صغيرة ذات لون ابيض مزرق واحياناً بنفسجي فاتح ذات رائحة عطرية.
تعد الاوراق الجزء الطبي الفعال في النبات اذ يحصل من التقطير المائي لاوراق اكليل الجبل على زيت طيار اصفر فاتح له رائحة النبات المميزة وطعم كافوري حار ويحتوي الزيت اساساً على مادة البورنيول Borneol ومادة السينول Cineol واضافة الى هذين المركبين يوجد العديد من التربينات Terpeneas ومواد صابونية واحماض عضوية .

يستعمل النبات كأحد التوابل المستخدمة في الطعام ويعمل على تنشيط الدورة الدموية والجهاز العصبي والهضمي فهو يعمل على طرد الغازات ومدر
مغلي الاوراق يعالج اضطرابات القلب ويعالج الصداع ويستعمل كغرغرة في ازالة رائحة الفم الكريهة ومضاد للجراثيم . اما زيته يستعمل كمرهم للروماتيزم وعلاج الاكزيما والكدمات والجروح.
يتكاثر النبات بالعقل في الربيع ويتكاثر بالبذور في الخريف..
